FOCEB Training Programs
In Construction Jobs, for example, some young people have been able to be helped and trained as: carpenter, mason, electrician, plumber, roofer, joiner, plasterer, tiler, painter, glazier, locksmith etc. Within the Foundation, a few Members who have skills in project management give training to those young People for those matters. Other training programs are in: house painters, tailors, dressmakers, mechanic, pottery, basketry, carving, welding. In these professions, we have project managers who are devoted Members of the « FOCEB » who volunteer to help vulnerable young people. All these activities are supervised by one of the Notre Dame of Rosary’s Sisters. Sister Yengo received two grants from the Apostolic Nuncio for those projects. He was amazed by the sisters’ ideas of managing and helping the Poorest of the Poor among the Vulnerable young People in Congo.

Who Benefits from Training Programs
From a general point of view, vulnerable Kids who grew up in the orphanage and were not adopted. Some have jobs and are independent, some from 19 to 22, with no families, must learn a profession to be independent. The idea is to continue helping them until they have the skills to work and be on their own and in good shape to take care of themselves, maybe plan to start a family on their own, one day. Many other vulnerable Kids who learn are apprentices who come from outside and need also to have a professional opportunity to be able to go forward. They receive a bit of theory but a lot of practice and applications in several workshops. When young people finish their training and achieve their experience, properly, their wave of graduated apprentices will be replaced by a new one
